Welcome to Rubbish Removal Walthamstow (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our website (rubbishremovalwalthamstow.co.uk) and the booking of our rubbish removal, waste clearance, and collection services.

By accessing our website or booking our services, you (“the Customer,” “you”) agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before making a booking.

1. Services Provided

  • We provide residential, commercial, builders, furniture, garden, and bulky waste collection and disposal services across Walthamstow (E17) and surrounding East London areas.
  • We are a Licensed Waste Carrier. All collected waste is transported and processed through authorized recycling and disposal facilities in accordance with UK environmental regulations and “Duty of Care” standards.

2. Bookings and Quotations

  • Quotations provided over the phone, via email, or through WhatsApp are estimates only, based on the information provided by the Customer (e.g., volume, weight, description of items, and access conditions).
  • The final price will be confirmed on-site by our clearance team prior to loading. If the volume, weight, or accessibility of the waste differs from the initial booking description, the price will be adjusted according to our standard pricing rates.
  • We reserve the right to decline a collection if the waste contains hazardous materials not disclosed during the booking process.

3. Pricing and Payment

Our rates are calculated based on load size (volume in cubic yards), weight, loading time, and ease of access.

Additional Charges: Extra fees may apply for:

  • Exceptionally heavy waste (e.g., soil, concrete, rubble, tiles).
  • Difficult property access (e.g., upper-floor flats without lifts, long carrying distances).
  • Specialist disposal items requiring individual environmental handling fees (e.g., mattresses, fridges, commercial white goods, hazardous electronics). 3.3. Payment must be made immediately upon completion of the service unless prior commercial invoicing terms have been formally agreed upon in writing.

4. Customer Responsibilities and Waste Restrictions

  • Hazardous Materials: We do not collect hazardous, toxic, or illegal waste materials, including but not limited to asbestos, raw chemicals, medical waste, explosive materials, gas canisters, or volatile liquids. The Customer must declare any potentially hazardous items beforehand.
  • Access and Permissions: The Customer must ensure that our clearance teams have safe, unobstructed access to the property and the items to be removed. You must secure any necessary permissions, permits, or parking arrangements required for our vehicles to load legally.
  • Ownership of Waste: The Customer guarantees that they either own the waste items being disposed of or have explicit authority from the legal owner to arrange their removal and destruction.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • We offer flexible booking and same-day response availability depending on schedules.
  • If you need to cancel or reschedule your booking, you must notify us at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled arrival window.
  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or instances where our team arrives on-site but is denied access or unable to complete the job due to circumstances within the Customer’s control, may be subject to a call-out fee.

6. Liability and Property Damage

  • Our teams are experienced and take the utmost care when handling heavy or bulky waste from houses, flats, and commercial units.
  • We do not accept liability for any unavoidable damage to property surfaces, paintwork, or floor coverings caused by the transit of bulky, awkward, or dirty items, unless caused by demonstrable negligence on our part.
  • It is the Customer’s responsibility to protect fragile flooring or walls prior to the arrival of the clearance team if tight spaces or heavy items are involved.

7. Website Usage and Intellectual Property

All content, text, images, tables, layout designs, and branding displayed on this website are the property of Rubbish Removal Walthamstow. 7.2. You may not copy, reproduce, or repurpose any text or media from this site for commercial purposes without explicit written consent.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
